Our Staff

The staff members at OrSheli and OlamSheli are warm, loving, and committed to creating an enriching environment for your child.

Teachers of the G1 class (1-year-olds)

Lucila:

For already five years I have worked within the OrSheli family. Our mission is to give our best to your small treasures, and to assist them in this new adventure. Year after year I feel immense joy looking after these young ones; it is the greatest pleasure in life to see the children explore their new world.

I hope very much that your children will have a wonderful year in the nursery with us and thank you very much for your confidence.

Miriam:

My name is Miriam, I am pleased to start this year with your children. I have been teaching in the nursery for four and a half years and it gives me such pleasure to share joyful and unforgettable moments with your children. They are our little rays of sunshine! My first goal is the well-being of your children and I hope that, with the help of Lucila, we can make the nursery a second home for your children!

Teachers of the G2 and G3 classes (2- and 3-year-olds)

Carrie:

I am a teacher in the G2 class and have been working at Garderie OrSheli since 2012. It has been such an honour to be a part of this family.

I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education and have a diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have been working as a preschool teacher for almost fifteen years.

I believe in allowing young ones to have hands-on experiences, develop their creativity and to learn through play.

Eloisa:

I am a teacher in the G2 class. I have been working at Garderie OrSheli for a year and a half and absolutely love it! I have a B.S. in Secondary Education and have experience working in both preschools and high schools.

Every child is unique with his/her own way of learning. My goal is to provide a creative learning experience for the children and to make learning fun and as much hands-on as possible.

Dulcie:

I am the G3 teacher and this will be my third year teaching this lovely age group. I have a B.A. in Psychology and am currently working on a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a Certificate in Children's Mental Health. My aim is to encourage and nurture all aspects of development within each child and to have a lot of fun along the way!

Teachers of the G4 class (4- and 5-year-olds)

Anna:

Hello, my name is Anna and this will be my second year as an educator for the G4 class. I completed my education in Ontario with a Bachelor's Degree in Education for teaching at the Intermediate and Elementary level. I have also completed an Honor's Degree in Fine Art specializing in Visual Art. I have been studying the French language since elementary school through university, up until the present day.

From my experience with students and children, it is clear that each individual is unique in their way of thinking, understanding and interacting with information. Education is not limited to a single approach, which is why my personal pedagogy in education is to challenge teaching methods by using techniques that motivate students. In my practice I constantly incorporate methods that exercise a student's physical, visual, auditory and tactile skills, in the hopes that every child may have the opportunity to attain meaningful learning.

Sylwia:

Hello, my name is Sylwia (pronounced 'Sylvia') and I am very happy to work in this daycare. Originally from Poland, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and 9 years of experience in a preschool environment. I am passionate about my profession and I look forward to providing your children with a high quality learning experience that will equip them with the necessary abilities for their overall develoment. This will happen through challenging and fun activities that will stimulate the children's imagination and creativity, as well as develop their curiosity and capacity to observe and concentrate.
